Hello, i just rebuilt my lower end and replaced the crank with a good used crank.... i have sealed up the case and torqued down the primary gear to 101.5 ft lbs such as stated in the manual... after tightened to torque, i noticed the crank does not spin freely, i also noticed that the primary drive gear has no clearance and is grinding into the case as you can see in the image... Any suggestions on solution to the issue is greatly appreciated

i am no mechanic but you must of done something wrong my friend, you should of taken pictures of every part of dissassembly. you're probably missing some parts somewhere

The primary gear was installed wrong. You need to turn it around. There should be a bowed washer before you install he nut. make sure you install the washer the right way also .
