Went riding with so buddies yesterday and we noticed that the other LT's fan was kicking on alot more than mine. I was riding the same, if not more then him and we were wondering what was going on. Then we realized he still had his headlight on and I don't. We did not check the radiator fliud level (too hot), but we thought it had to be the headlight (and the fact his is white and slower-hahaha). I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this or heard about it anywhere.

Thats why i got a Yellow and blue, but i also noticed the fan kicking alot. Maybe suzuki set the fan temp lower than the other 450's.

well for 1 : the white is faster than yellow. LOL :D
also it may be that the fan will not run as often if the headlight is off because of the air flow being now directed towards the radiator and fan. just a theory but having th headlight off may be an advantage for cooling

Oh come on...EVERYONE knows that the White ones are WAY hotter than the Yellow ones....thats why the fans runs so much...I know from experience it's all the chicks around my WHITE one that block the airflow. Nuff said :p

His light is removed. We noticed big time when we drag raced alot. Yea... we all thought mine had to be getting alot more air flow on the radiator and motor.

Actaully cowbells can trap some of the heat from the radiator if light is still on. Just make sure the opening of the cowbell is facing the radiator from behind.
