I know that the 8" Hauler combo is the best for the sand drags, but I really want to go with a 10" combo, due to the benefits of the other 80% of the time when I am duning. Should I still be going with a 6 or 7 paddle Hauler with the 10" wheels?

Yea, I have read a lot of forums on the paddle debate as well, and I have come to the conclusion that the 8" setup is the best for the drags, but I also know that the 10" setup is better for duning.
There is debate as to which paddle is best: Haulers, Gliders, or Brats.
I can purchase 20x10x10 7 paddle Haulers on Douglas wheels shipped for $230.
I ultimately would like to go with Gliders, but I can't find a comparable deal for those.
Since, I am likely going with the 10" Haulers, is it still the same paddle number as the 8" setup?

I run a 10" on my 89 250r just for the bling factor. A 10" wheel will still perform decent if you keep it 8" wide. That is key. Most of the time they want to sell you a 10X10 wheel

If I ran a 20x10x10, I'd probably go with a 9 or 10 paddle...... probably more like a 9.

I rode a bike with the 20x10x10 8paddle (another LTR) And they were poorly comparable to my Sandstars. All they would do is dig trenches. I'd rather try a set of 9 paddle brats in a play cut for the same cost and weight. However gliders are gaining in popularity for the 20x10 fans.

I myself wouldn't mind trying out a 66 roll out (not all 20"-21" tires are equal) 21x12x10 10 or 9 paddle edge in a tripple buff. to see where it stands against the STU Sand Skate I.

Cause if you ask me, and anyone else who's seen that tire perform..... the STU Sand Skate I. has got to be the best duning tire available that can show up at the drags and whoop up on drag tires all day long.

But it is $450 shipped. And Triple buffed 10paddle edges are going to be about $370 I'm guessing.
