Hey guys I'm looking for some help, bent my stock bars and am looking to get new bars but have heard certain types have been hard to make work on the LTR450 and just looking to see what you guys are running for bars and how easy or how much modifying you had to do to make them work.

I would try those Flexx bars, but they are so expensive. I could get several good handle bars for the price of one Flexx bar. Plus if you wreck and break the bars then you just spent a couple hundred on one set.

All the parts on th flexx bars are replacable individually so they are worth the money! I guarantee once you ride with them you will never buy another set of TAG or anything else!!!!!!!!!!! I used tag 1 1/8 adapters and 2 shims on the bars with red elastometers and no cable issues.

I was a little skeptic at first as well when it came to ordering the FLEXX bars or not......Now I will NEVER ride w/o a set on one of my quads. I used a moose bar adapter which raised them about 1" and I had plenty of cable as well. If I wanted to go any higher though, there would be cable issues for sure.

Well if Flexx bars were available through my dealer, I'd have them right now, but the price is not to my liking.

Flexx bars are the best bars ever. There's not a single bad thing to say about them.

I used the Pro Taper adapter, the cables are ok.... this is the quick fix.
The right way to do it is to buy a fat bar clamp kit that fits on top the stock stem, plus some clamps have a place to mount your kill switch built in - this is nice especially with the flexx bars.

Derisi Racing says they have THE LOWEST price anywhere on the flexx bars...
www.derisiracing.com - give them a call. Santo will hook you up if you tell him you saw his ad in ATV Insider magazine.

The BEST and RIGHT way it to get a new 4130 chromoly +1 stem. Either from me or any other GOOD compnay. The stock stems are allready VERY, VERY weak. Adding clamps that are higher will add leverage and the stem will bend even easier. As far as fitment goes ..... a +1 stem or +1 clamps and ATV bend Flexx bars will not fit without longer cables or re-routing the cables. I reccomend a +1 stem and Dana Creech bars. I am sure Derisi has great prices, although not a sponser or supporter on this site. I am sure myself, Cernics, or Lukercycles can get you the same or very close to it price and also offer full service by awnsering any questions you may have.

WHOA!!!!!!! I just went to my buddies house and he has a YFZ with FLEXX bars and i tried them out. Man they are nice, I can't really explain how good they are since i didn't get a chance to use them on a track. Well since i didn't know how good they are I take back what i said about the price, It reminds me of when i first bought my $450.00 SHOEI helmet. I can tell you i will never use another helmet.

I have blue Renthal Fatbars and they seem to work well. I have wrecked several times with them and they haven't bent or twisted what so ever. I you can afford the Flexx bars go for it. But for $65 Renthals work pretty good.
