I would like to thank Fuel for all the work on the pipe shootout he has done on his personal time. Even though the HP numbers haven't been released yet, Fuel already posted the db levels for most of the pipes. They are all way to loud for riding in the Oregon Dunes and I don't want to play hide and seek with the Forest Rangers and sheriffs anymore. I stopped by LRD yesterday and ended up getting the PRO 4R. It's only supposed to be 96.5 open and 92.3 with the quiet core in. As long as it has equal power to the stock with the baffle out and is quiter, I will be happy. I'm heading out Thursday morning to the North Bend/Coos Bay area so I will try to get the pipe on tonight and record on my crappy little camera the sound against stock.

The great thing about the pipe.....the end cap looks just like Sandjunkie's....but then again, don't they all

I wish we had more time to test these pipes with the spark arrestors in. Not too sure how much quieter they would have been. LRD does make some good pipes and like i said all of the pipes were really close so far. But if you want that little extra edge some pipes are making a little more the others.

NW, yea I gotta admit that end cap is a bad ass set up. And you are also right about the loudness. I have had SEVERAL conversations with Fuel and Trinity about the DB rating. I may just end up installing the stock pipe on weekends that I know I'm going out to Pismo or the like. OR...just keep it in the trailer for justin case :D

I hope I run over a spotted owl :p
