nope same here brother, i spent so much money on my last quad, and now all the money from me working this summer is going to the ltr450 im getting soon, then im going to buy upgrades for that, so totale in quad purchases ive spend is about ummm.... 14,000 ish haha and im only 15 years of age lol, thats before upgrades for this one
Godddd This Sport Is Expensive
Sheesh.. I started adding up how much this sport is costing me.. Every cent that I make is going into my bike.. I am starting flat track racing on top of my Motorcross racing and these tires are putting a beating on me also.. and thats still with my suspension played with and my quad motorcycle strapped down friday nights to make it lower..But I just cant get away from it its just to fun.. There goes personal time too though.. :lol: School/Work/Quad/Girlfriend its a lot to balance.. Oh well im blabbering.. Is it the same for all of you guys? Or am I just addicted haha

HAHA I use to race class 7s here in california when I was in High School. I had a GOOD full time job and spent every pay check on my truck. (7s in a Mini truck class) I saved EVERY reciept until I was done racing due to a bad endo. To this day I haven't had the heart to add up how much I spent, but I still have them all. It is probably close to 20k.
Same here. Well over 20k in the ltz470. Got only about 2k into the ltr so far. Gunna sell the ltz and begin the rbuild this winter on the ltr. I DOOOO understand the balance. Active duty Marine, 2 kids, wife, 2 quads, motorcycle (just stolen)....yadda yadda....
im a care free teenager my parents support me 100% on the traveling i buy most parts but its really race ready so i dont have to buy any
I shudder to think what I have in this LTR...but...listen up guys...RACING IS EXPENSIVE...doesn't matter what kind...quads...cars...motorcycles...go carts...hell even those little RC cars can get out of hand...

Yep true. Any time you want to be competitive its going to cost alot. The only way its going to be cheap is to go buy a 200ex and keep it stock....but wheres the fun in that? 
I know im new here but i have a kfx with a couple of grand in it and ready to sell it for the ltr but i have to say all the money ive spent on my quad race fees and all that crap was worth it. I have had so much fun riding, racing, moding my quad and a bunch of other stuff and your right i dont what to know the grand total of spending but its been alot of fun and well worth all of it.
Plus don't forget to add up all the doctor's and hospital bills with it also! Speaking of.... How is the wrist doing?
Well I know it's there because it likes to remind me every so often by sending a blast of pain up my forearm. I see the surgeon on Wednesday and he will let me know my next steps. I missed the race in Monticello but I heard it was miserable because it never stopped raining. A few toy haulers and rigs had to be towed. A foot of water on the ground by Sunday in certain areas. A buddy of mine did well with a third place finish in the A class, not bad for his first WORCS race this year. So it's sounds like I didn't miss much. Thanks for asking though!Speaking of....
