Glamis @ Night...

I didn't want this to get lost in the thread so I'm letting everyone who isn't familiar with Glamis know...

Bring either a lighted whip or glow sticks for the night ride at Glamis...they WILL ticket you if you don't...I mean if they catch you...

Now hold on a minute....Bring your whip, headlight, and tail light. And that is only for the people you are riding with. If you are talking about the 19th, there will not be any rangers there. What'chu talkin bout Junkie?

Kracker...the Rangers roll in early Friday to start the weekend...so if your coming for the night ride on the 18th? You may want to be prepared...and yes the Rangers WILL be there on the 19th...they stopped by for a lil visit last time we went..it was a Saturday and about 9:00 in the morning...

Sweet this gives me an excuse to but a lighted whip. I've been wanting one but the "resonable" half of this household always say I don't need one.

Ive been going to the dunes for along time, and its always been that the sandrails were mandatory lighted whips. Unless its been in the last 4 months, I dont think its mandatory for bikes. A headlight and tail light are though.

9 am of Friday...they are there all day and for the weekend...so they MAY (or not) be there Friday NIGHT...geesh...

And hey...just thought I would let everyone know...don't want anyone's weekend ruined...$2 for a glow stick at Home Depot...or not...

My first trip to glamis I was in my mommas belly! and then before that family been going since '79 baby old school!!!! I know im young born in '82...but anyways...

the only ones that need a light are rails, for everyone else its reccomended, all ya need is a head light and tail light.

Bah i hate the rangers....never around when you need them and always around when you dont...like making 20 foot fires and playing with gasoline...and the lovely magnesium fires...ah those were the days....damn two wheeler punks with 2wd lifted trucks had to ruin it!

Wow, I couldnt agree more. Duner since 83 in moms belly at Buttercup. Guess its in my blood as well. It seems the last 5 years has gotten more what I like to call "poser friendly". Lots of punk ass kids, fights, big fires, even shootings, WTF is that about?

Magnesuim VW cases burning is the coolest thing since sliced bread. The last one I saw was at GW about 6 years ago.

For some reason it never gets old going. Ive been to Hawaii and some other places and nothing stacks up to the dunes.

I have some friends that save their trowels for me...they are magnesium too...same effect just not as drastic...I'll bring some for you R-3...

Awesome! Think I could out one in a Mason jar and tip on end and use it as a HID headlight? Now theres a thought.
