The only thing I can figure out is that a group of irate apes broke out of the local zoo and into the dyno room where the tests took place. At that point they proceeded to play "kick the can" with my Trinity exhaust pipe...This is the only reasonable story that I could deduce since I KNOW that NO responsible human being that BORROWED a $600 exhaust system would treat it like puppy with a new chew toy...

Fortunately Frank Zuppan from "Zoops" billet aluminum products is a close and personal friend of mine...the results are, quite frankly, stunning...

I'm almost afraid to mount it on my bike again :D I'm sealing it right now with "ZoopSeal"...hopefully I will have some pics up by this weekend :p

*Jealous*

After thought I guess.....

I was going to zoops my polished engine parts on my LTR, but my polish guy checked into it and his polishing supplier said it would be kinda like a clear coat that would come off over time and cause unevenness(some still polished, some that would go dull). Do you have personal experience with this stuff? I know it's kinda pricey too...

Clone...your guy is dead wrong...while it WILL come off over time...but you just re-apply it and your good to go. NO dull spots or uneven spots...when it starts to wear off it just looks like regular oxydation...and that tells you it's time to re-apply...let me know if you want some since I got a line on the stuff. I'm sure I can get ya a pretty good deal on it.

I been using his stuff for 5 years...it's all over my Chevelle...and you know what that looks like :D

That turned out great! So I must be in the dark here! What is Zoops a type of polishing compound or a clear overcoat of some sort? Looks amazing and would love some more info on this stuff!

OK...since I'm an air conditioning contractor and it's hot as hell outside...I didn't get home in time to put the pipe on my bike...sooooo

Clone...I'll get you some pics this weekend for sure :D

Wallace...hey...what are friends for?

Dirt...yes it's a coat but it's super thin...not like a clear coat...I believe it stops the aluminum from breathing therefore slows the oxydation. Thats what the dullness is in Aluminum...simple oxydation. So anyways, since it's not a coating like a clear coat...it will not fade or dull or come off in spots...

The web site is www.zoopseal.com

Hope this is helpful :p

Wallace...it's not chrome...it's polished Aluminum...but almost anything can be polished up like that..when I get it installed I'll post pics...the best example is Clones bike...find his post...I think it's called "Going for the clean stock look"...he's done a great job of polishing his bike...might give you some ideas if you can find a polisher up by you :D

I just looked back at that thread. Wallace posted in my thread as well and called it chrome. It is all polishing.
