I removed this lever and pulled the cable through coiled it up and zip tied it up under the gas tank, because I removed the black blob on the bars and put on a KX kill switch as a starter button. Well I have my bike torn down right now and I'm looking at the end of the cable thinking can I remove it and if so I would have to cap off the hole somehow.

So has anyone done this and if so what did you do?

Just remove the cable from the L shaped holder on the TB. Leave the spring and plunger in place but remove the cable. Reinstall the fixture back in the TB and install a small 6mm screw or dowl into the rubber and secure with a zip tie.
