I had a little incident today. Couldn't decide which way to go made a last second decision and couldn't turn sharp enough. Front bumper is toast. It pushed up into the headlight which pushed up on the fenders. Anyway my quad isn't even a week old, has less than 30 minutes of run time. I was planning on replacing the bumper but not the fenders.

Only bright side with this - I can get a differenent color. Wife doesn't like white. I like Maier's Zest orange. May go with the orange/blue color scheme like I had with my Z400.

If you were planing on changing the color you should have bought the yellow LTR....its slower and you would have had plenty of time to make the turn. That sucks about the wreck though.

BTW your Z looks sick. Nice color scheme!!

Since the Yellow ones were made for farm work I don't think there's much chance he would have hit anyone hauling around a hay bail or towing a trailer full of alfalfa....

I picked up some plastic weld today. Going to try that instead of buying new fenders.

What kind of plastic are the fenders made of?

Plastic weld says it doesn't work with Polyethylene or Polypropylyne plastics.

They are PP (polypropylyne)..but try it anyways...I think it should work..I've used that stuff and it's INCREDIBLE....

The plastic weld will work for now!!

It worked for the main mount but the radiator scoop mount broke right away. Will se how long the fender mount itself will hold up.

I just used a zip-ty for the radiator shroud.

I've never had that great of luck with plastic weld on ATV fenders...only way I've ever been able to get it to hold for a while is by using the plastic cut off after trimming fenders and using that to fill in. Plastic weld is good stuff, hope it lasts for you :)
