OK...while I was destroying my airbox I also installed these frame guards that are on E-bay...not bad and a good fix until someone finds some aluminum guards...or better yet some carbon fiber ones... :p

Maybe you should've used them before the frame was scratched?
Well...the only problem with that is since I was one of the first to get one...about the ONLY darn part on the market at the time was the CRBM :p

Good things come to those who wait...

I'd rather ride :D

Amen. Preach the gospel, brother Junkie!! (both hands in air)
They are a temporary fix at best. I have them on mine and they have already started to peel off. I got two days riding out of them. :smiley_gun: Maybe you'll have better luck with them.
Yea I figured as much BUT...I couldn't stand to look at those things anymore...besides my SIDI's were REALLY biting into those side rails...work boots were bad enough...anyone try buying a roll of that stuff and cutting their own? :p
hey what is that stuff. and where can i find it?
Lil...it's a 3-M product..think it's called non skid...I found these on Ebay...kinda like grip tape for your skate board but not as abrasive :D here's the link...

Wht...yepp...thats all they are...they didn't cost much..I would even shell out another couple of bucks to get some more and use them as a template...if I knew where to buy the non skid that is...unless YOU know? :p
I made some out of Diamond Plate alum. Took about 2 hours. There were alot of small bends to make but they look great.
Ren..lets see some pics bro...hook us up :D
If you guys are looking for a real fix I would seriously look at Herculiner or a similar product. It will hold up very very well. I did my a-arms u can see it in my pics.
where are your pics? would like to see them before i order.
