OK guys...after much consideration, I think we can all agree that we have recieved a huge amount of information and support on this forum. And I see plenty more in the future...that being said...

Just because i used to be a part of larger forums i can say the forum is either run by the sponsors or the members, never both. I can see myself paying $10 to get to how-to information, but not a protected forum with nothing in it. Since the site already has sponsors the best thing to do is set up group buys with a portion of the money donated to the site. Another thing is with the price of hosting lately and costs of domain names if the shopping was done correct you could have a domain for $5/yr and pay $10/mo for ALOT of bandwidth. I honestly don't have a problem donating money, its just the fact i want to see where or what my money goes to.

DVS then pay the $10.00 you have got more then $10.00 worth of info already i am sure. I dont think the site should charge for info. If everyone helps when they can we can keep this site the best LTR450 site out there. I really dont make much money off of this site. Once the cost to sponser this site goes up i will not be able to be a sponser here any more. I just bought another shirt and some stickers to help support the site. I think a member supported site would be best, and then keep fees low for sponsers to still offer good information, good products, and good service. Yes you may be able to get some sponsers that will pay more, but it might not be worth the trade?

There really are ALOT of bills to pay on a growing site such as this...forum software, domain registration, server space, search engine submittance, new code/feature installs, etc all add-up. None of the moderators recieve any form of compensation for their dedicated time; and it's time we love to donate. It really is no piece of cake to operate, maintain, and develop a successful interactive site; I wish the boss could be raking in large $ figures for the time he dedicates but that's just not the way it is.

For the record, we won't EVER charge for the wide range of information on this site. But if you would like to donate to ensure this site continues to operate on a level above the rest; it would be greatly appreciated.
