I just got back from glamis. We went for the day. After breaking in the bike all week it was time to see this thing in action. The powerband is really smooth, and stock tires worked ok in the sand once you are up to speed. This bike is a little under powered stock , but not too bad. I know the cherry bomb and 5 bolts will fix that. I am amazed at how this thing handles stock...... low, fast and once i took a little compression out and add some rebound the suspnsion was PERFECT. People are complaining about the gearing, well i think it may be too LOW. We went on a fast bowl ride and we were in 4th and 5th often looking for 6th. This will all change with paddles because of the drag paddles creat. I think a 13 in the front will be fine. I personally will be trying a 38 rear stock front. I got off of the LTR to let other people ride it ....... nothing else compairs IMO. Now its time to tear this bike apart.

BTW, you should make up some fender brackets aka heel guard eliminators that either use the airbox mount bolt or the stock locations on the rear frame.

I thought the complaints were from being too "tall" geared. You say you think it's low ...won't adding a 13 front or bigger rear make it even lower geared?

When i get the paddles i will try stock gearing first. Really depends on how much drag the paddles have. I opted for a 20x11x9 9 cup glider. The glider will have more top end, less drag, but not as good of a hole shot. I dont think i will need a 13 front. Worst case up 2 in the rear.....but i think stock may be fine esecially with the power increase from cherry bomb,no lid, and sparky removed. I do want to make a bracket, but i have my hand in so many stews right now.....tooo much going on. No i have not found a rear sprocket yet.
