Fimak/pim Question

At the local races last weekend someone told me you didnt have to have the fimak set up on your quad all the time...he said that you can just plug in the numbers then take it off and it'll run how you programmed it to...Is this true ? Or do you have to have the FIMAK setup on the quad all the time?

They are correct.

Plug it in
Turn the ignition on
Program it
Disconnect it
Turn the ignition off and then back on again and it's programmed.
