OK, this is pretty wierd. Saturday night Joe was racing in the first moto and hit a track tire which yanked the bars out of his hands going up a step-up. He managed to gather it all back in and keep the engine running but before he could get going another quad hit him. The engine died and the Fuel Injection light came on. The quad wouldn't start. He rolled the quad off the track and after a little while the light went out and the quad fired up and has run fine since. What happened? Does anyone have a clue?

I'm not sure exactly what might have caused that on your buddies bike...but I had a similar problem with mine. I forgot to turn the key off and the the bike on run while I trailored it home and once I arrived, the light was blinking rapidly and wouldn't start. It would only turn over. So, I turned the key off, waited a few seconds, and it fired right up without any problems on following rides. I asked about it as well and was told that it was something with the fuel pump and it tripped the sensor somehow. So by turning the key off, it reset it. Not sure if that's what happened to your bike, but I hope that helped.

You may have a short in the wire for your kill switch. My kill switch wire came off the wire it was tied into and the light was blinking, hooked it back up and it quit. This will also cause the bike not to start because it thinks the kill switch is removed. Check the wiring for your kill switch. Hope it helps.
