hey i heard that a couple guys with r450's around here were woods racing them and they said they melted the piston into the head. i dont know there set up on them i think they have them just piped with no chip. has any one else heard of this happening? also i kno of guys that are breaking the swingarm and rear linkage on the R's also. i know that in one of the GNC races a rider snapped the rear linkage during the race. does any one ting this might be a problem?

The rear link is a problem. Where the link connects to the frame is only tack welded. It needs to be welded all the way around. Suzuki has changed this on the new frames already, but the early ones have the problem.

Does anybody know when they started welding the frames all the way? I bought mine around end of February middle of March, my dad looked at it and said it looked fine, he knows when a weld is good so i will trust him.
