I do not know, but the best I can give you is a little fatherly encourage I guess..... ;)

Make sure to double check all of the connectors and make sure they all snapped in place. Make sure you used all of the plugs. If everything looks good(and look at EVERY plug), unhook the main plug to the PIM and hook it back up. I guess you could have a faulty PIM, but I would make dang sure everything was right before I faulted Yoshi.

Wish that was my problem, but I don't have a tether. I've taken all the connections apart and made sure they were securely fastened and I still have the same problem... I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I know this sounds stupid BUT...I know when I installed the Trinity set up I had it plugged into the wrong plug. It just flashed back and forth but not the EFI light, just the fuel module. So it was telling me that it wasn't installed correctly. Might want to double check and see if all the leads are going to the proper places...
Funny thing...when we went out for our first ride there was a guy with an LTR and a Trinity set up...he had HIS hooked up wrong and he never even noticed it...and no I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarress him in front of his girlfriend :(

Alright, well I went back out... made sure all connections were tight and still had the same problem. So I started looking for a spot where I could have plugged into the wrong spot. I'm pretty sure this isn't correct but I tried this and the FI light stopped blinking, but still couldn't start.

Now this is where I had it hooked up previously and the FI light would blink and quad would not start.

And finally the 3rd set of plugs that I'm positive are correct.

Anyone have any ideas?

06...I think your looking in the wrong place...if I'm not mistaken the PIM goes under the plastics on the front end. I think your supposed to slide the CDI box down and it just bolts somewhere up unfer the front plastics on that aluminum rail...check that out and holla back :D

Better yet, could you just take pics of all the connections you made? You don't need to put a caption with them, just take the pics and post them if you would.

I wish I had seen this thread earlier while I had mine out working on it.

Anyway. I cant' remember exactly but it's down under one of the yellow dots in this pic. You can barely get your hands down there and it will only plug into 1 place down there.

No I haven't disconnected the battery if that's what you mean by disconnecting power. I will go out and give it a try though. Otherwise I think I may have just gotten a bad PIM unit... which is really surprising because Yosh makes some damn good products.

Sorry, I wasn't of more help. Everything looks good from the pics. Before you yank the PIM, you might give Yoshi a call and see if they can troubleshoot over the phone.

I also heard somewhere on here that the guy turned his petcock all the way off...then all the way back on and it cleared out the flashing light...
I know I'm really reaching now...

I think I'll just have to give Yosh a call on Monday... this thing is really aggravating me. I tried disconnecting the battery Junkie, no luck. Thanks all for taking a look for me. I wish I would have just made a stupid mistake that you guys could of caught but it looks like it's more complicated than that.

Reach away brother, maybe one of these crazy things will fix it and I won't have to go through the hassle of calling Yosh. lol

I don't recall having an unplugged wire behind the PIM bracket(4th pic down). Do you know where that came from?

That's coming off of the PIM harness. It's the plug you can change to switch maps. Just showing I didn't forget to plug in one of the two plugs. :D

Duh!!(beating my head into the wall now)

Well, I'll keep thinking. Hopefully I'll come up with something better than what I have up to now(nothing). Sorry 'bout your luck

Everybody could just leave your quads stock and have less problems.
