Well strapped up the new beast. Mods were cb, exhaust plug out and lid off with 10holes drilled into box. Made 3 pulls with a best of 44.0whp 30.7ftlbs.
Next I pulled the stock box off and installed a 400ex [email protected] filter. Bike had a lot stronger curve but fell off in the top end due to stock exhaust. But made an impressive 46.1whp 32.3ftlbs. I was very happy with the results and the numbers. This was on a car chassis dyno, so I think that if it was on a quad dyno that it would have been higher numbers. But thats not what I was after. I wanted to see how much power was gained with each mod. Next mod will be pim and dasa exhaust. Shooting for 50whp on this dyno. Ill keep you guys posted.

That is what im talking about. WHT180 did this mod and posted but didnt seem to get a good response LOL....maybe some will now hahaahahahaah.......Gotta love when a $60 part gives you 2.1 HP .....

Nice numbers. I'm glad to see the guys at Lil Sahara Power sports were about spot on when they sold me my 400ex air filter.

They said the same thing.... about 2whp.... and to not bother buying a high dollar billet adapter unless I just wanted to spend the money :lol:

that $60 btw is with the outerwear included.

If you dont mind me asking. Where did you hear about the 400EX Air Filter mod at? Only other place i heard about it was here at LIttle Sahara and they were just testing some filters out one day and wondered if it would fit and it was a perfect match up.

If it gives another 1whp its worth it. 3whp for just an intake would be badass. Ill post my next dyno result. We will be putting jsermans ltr on the dyno soon too. Is the 400ex k&n a clamp on or just a replacement for the factory filter so you can still run the airbox?
