Hey There,
New to this site, I'm picking up a new yellow LTR this weekend. In the process of selling my 89' LT500R ( bought new in 89')
Hoping that this bike will be much better (17+yrs technology) I really like my quadzilla, but getting back into riding. My 500 with a pual turner pipe , and minor mods ran very strong before, the last time I had it out (55~60HP two-stroke), will I be disappointed with the power of the LTR? I getting older and something fast but mellower is ok ( I was hoping they would make an LTR700 to kill the Raptor and everything else in existence)
Anyhow Pual Turner/ Duncan Racing is local to me and has always had a good reputation - how come nobody mentions there pipe for the LTR? Do they suck? The Fat boy looks killer for this bike. Or should I be looking at the dasa/HR1 or wait another three or so months for more options to come available.
I'm a big guy and will need as much HP as I can get while not voiding the waranty ( no cams or head work) I'm very familiar with F.I. as well, and fully understand tuning.
Thanks-
