Dielectric Grease

If you ever happen to have your plastics off you just want to take them off for this i strongly suggest using dielectric grease to prevent corrosion in the electrical system. Just find every electrical connection from the brake lamp to the EFI cpu and go to town.

Dielectric is an effective barrier to moisture and protects electrical connections, ignition parts and wiring from moisture, salt, dirt and corrosion.

This is a 3oz tube and costs roughly 10-15bucks. One is all you need.

Excellent tip. I unhooked one of my connectors and there was a ton of dirt that had gotten down in there. If dirt is getting in there so is moisture.

I don't know why I didn't go over evrythign when I had the plastics off because I bought a tube to do it and totally forgot about it.
