OK guys...I feel that there's a certain responsibilty that some of you have been lax in...and thats reporting how you fixed your bike's problems. I mean COMEON...if you do a post about a problem and everyone scrambles around runing to their garages to look at their bikes...pulling parts off or removeing plastics...

Looking for an answer...then spending the time to type in their opinions or experiences...

The at least have the good taste to report back to us what the problem was...even if it means eating a little humble pie and admitting that you screwed up...nothing wrong with that...we all do...

But I for one would like to know what became of your problem...mainly so I can avoid the same predicament :p

And we can pass this information down to others...

SO if you:
Installed my Yoshi PIM and it doesn't work?
Blinking lights on FI...bike won't run?
Stripped my oil tank bolt...what should I do?
Bike quit running after first ride in dunes?
Siliconed TOS and now bike won't run?

You get the picture...let us know how you fixed the bike or what the dealer said and how he's going to fix it?

Man up...let's start a trend :D

I would assume you're talking to me about these 2 points... So far I've got no answers for you about that. I've been running my bike with the cherry bomb ever since I sent the PIM unit in to Yoshi. They received my Pim on the 10th and I've yet to hear from anyone at Yoshi... I've called and left a message with Pete in Tech service almost everyday this week and he won't return my calls. All I want to know is how long it's going to be before I get my unit (if it is in fact good) or a new unit to replace it. It shouldn't take them 2 weeks to figure out whether the unit is good or bad... atleast IMO (the tech guy I talked to first said as soon as they recieved it they'd have a LTR in a couple of days to try it on). Anyone else had this kind of problem with Yoshi tech support?? Sorry to go on a little rant like that guys it's just been a frustrating week. I'll definitely let you guys know anything as soon as I find out.

By the way Junkie if you're looking for another safe place to keep a copy of you're manual I'd be more than happy to help you out. ;)

I haven't ridden mine since the end of May. So, no problems to speak of. So, I just keep buying parts for it. That makes me feel better. :D

No i haven't screwed anything up...just wondering how other guys got their problems fixed...

For those that have missed the point...I'm not trying to overlord anything here...you guys don't owe me anything...I'm not trying to be the "mommy"...

I just want to know if you guys got your problems fixed...simple...and if you did?...what fixed it?

Just wanting to know...might help someone down the line if they have a similar problem

Just food for thought

06LT...PM me your address and I'll see if I can't get a copy to you...for safekeeping...of course...

I might be the first person on this site with a "safe house" in every town in the USA

You did not sound demanding by any means. I think it's a great idea.
You are totally correct....

What's the point of having a Database............ of problems....... without the solutions.
Doesn't make any sense. When the problem is solved it should be posted.

I am guilty of it as well.... The stripped bolt.... Haven't posted yet. But it frustrates me a little.... No....leaves me wondering.... when people ask me questions -- I give a possible solution -- then no reply.

I have PM'd several guys with...well did it work for you...some have replied "yes"...I have tried to copy/paste those back into the thread.

I think you have the same opinion and feelings about it like I do. That's what I got from your post.
As much as we like to poke fun -----

We feel that the database should be "complete" and we are genuinely concerned about our peers.

Please forgive me.... if I offended you...Overlord Sir -- ;)

Siliconed TOS and now bike won't run?

Please don't make the same mistake that I did and silicone the TOS and then put it on up-side-down. YES-there is a certain way for it to mount. If you mount the box up-side-down the bike won't start. So in conclusion, be sure to silicone the pendilum in the TOS and NOT the circuit board loacted in the switch. Then read the writing on the actual switch box that says UP! Hope this helps, Nick.

Installed my Yoshi PIM and it doesn't work?

I have talked to many owners off the PIM and they all said it was a pain in the azz to install. The 30 min install time turned into 2 1/2 hour job. One ''problem'' is that to the rear of the bike there are 3 plugs, all 3 of them are not labeled and are the same ''type'' of plug. This means that there are different ways to plug it into the bike making which means that if one plug isn't in right then the quad won't start. Be sure to read the directions carefully and make sure that you have the right plugs connected before your call Yoshi! If and when you install the PIM and your quad won't start just start playing with different options on how you can install those plugs. Hope this helps too!
