Has anyone else purchased a DG V-Lite Pro bumber for your LT-R450? I got mine in Saturday and the bends are all crooked, four of the welds are broke and it just generally looks like sh*t. I called the Suzuki dealer that I orderd it from and they said they "inspected" it before it left there and it was fine. That worries me because my DG nerfs will be in next week. This is the first time I have ever bought from DG. Are they known for this kind of thing? When I get home I will get some pics and repost

I use to run a few DG parts, and normally was very pleased with product quality. I did snap a set of their nerf bars, however it was in the middle of the tubing, and not caused by poor welds.

Hope you can get your problem resolved, and yes we do care ;)

DG products are generally top notch and I would assume that with that kind of damage the dealer was telling you the truth. Probably damaged during shipping. DG is really good about working with customers and I would bet they will be eager to work with you on replacing it.

I would skip the middle man call DG, dealers are not known for "giving a fuck"

I ordered my DG v-lite pro also but i still haven't got it, my Kawasaki dealer ordered it a couple weeks ago, the only problem i've had with Dg is their standard nefbars, i've had several cracks around the rear welds behind the pegs. Finally got my AC's and they are sweet, very thick but very lite.

That makes me feel A LOT BETTER about the standard nerfs that I ordered that just came in today. I would have sprung for the AC's but I am kind of on a tight budget right now. Just had a baby and the wife hasn't started working yet. Can't wait for FUEL's pipe results. That's funny, though, because I can't wait to have the money to get one either. Catch-22 Back to the bumber, I was looking at an ATV mag, I can't remember which one, that had a DG ad on the first page, with an LTR of course, and I noticed the bumber they are showing is just as crooked as mine. The only thing is you can't see the broken welds on the back on the DG plate in the middle.

Don't know if they are the same design but the DG nerfs that cracked were on my Blaster, so they might be different.

I don't know how weak they are strength-wise, but they are pretty weak craftsmanship-wise. I got them in last week, but they take forever to get the webbing in, especially when you work 12 hrs a day. When I went to put them on today, they came with two little pieces of tubing to use for spacers on the front fender hangers that were too long. Thank GOD I have access to a machine shop, since I will have to turn them down about 1/8" apiece to get them to fit. Now I have to wait another week.

NOTICE TO ALL LTR OWNERS, DO NOT BUY JUNK FROM DG. BUY YOUR BUMPER FROM FUEL AND GET YOUR OTHER PARTS FROM SOMEONE ELSE WHO KNOWS WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.
