WHAT ARE THE DBS WITH THE CHERRY BOMB,BAFFLE REMOVED AND AIR BOX LID OFF.DOES ANY ONE KNOW?UP HERE IN CANADA WE ARE ALLOWED96 DBS.JUST WONDERING IF I AM OK.ALSO I HAVE ABOUT 6 HOURS ON BIKE NOW CAN I OPEN IT UP AFTER I CHANGE THE OIL.GOING RIDEN ON FRIDAY WITH HONDAS,YAMYS AND SUZ 400'S. CAN WAIT TO RACE THEM.YEEEEE HAAAA

To break it in you should ride it like your gonna ride it not nice and easy at least thats what MOTOMAN says. Thats what I did and havent had a single problem.
I don't have the pea shooter in mine and at idle (960-980rpm), 12" away, about 45 degrees, it is between 96 and 100 DBS, and at 18" away, about 45 degrees, it is between 92 and 98 DBS. I don't know what the exact measurements or rpm's are that they use, but thats a pretty good start. I used a Greenlee decibel meter.
Are you sure the pipe reaches can reach 100 decibals, becuase my YFZ hmf pipe is way louder and only is around 100 decibals.
Yea I'm sure (with this meter). The dial jumps around alot but I guess you can use the middle reading as an average.
