If you buy a DASA pipe From me or anyone else make sure you use Thread Lock and fully tighten the 3 bolts holding on the canister. THESE BOLTS DO NOT COME WITH THREAD LOCK ON THEM. THESE BOLTS WILL NOT BE TIGHT WHEN YOU RECIEVE YOUR PIPE. Failure to use Thread Lock and Tighten the bolts MAY resault in loss of bolts.

Well i'd say red is better because it's stronger, but any locktite is better than none.

I think Suzuki used purple for all the nuts and bolts on this bike...or maybe someone mixed in Gorilla Glue just to be funny... :angry:

I think some super-glue was thrown in there as well --- especially on the stem -- ;)

Not gorilla glue!!!!!!!!!!! now u'll have that stuff on there for ever. They also must've used Green locktite for the heatshield because my bolts are either welded tight or rounded out?

which bolts are you talking about? where it connects to the head? where it mounts to the frame on the rear/center? sorry for all the questions

I believe gorilla glue was used on the top bolt of my baffle...2.5 hours worth of grief to get that thing out :angry:
