Chopped off the ol' fenders...heres how they turned out...sorry..only pic i have of them so far.

wow that sure is perfect....the more I see cut fenders, the more I think I should cut mine. Just couldnt do it to my brand new one...will wait a couple months then cut it just like yours. looks geat!

I will never cut my fenders, I had laker plastic on my YFZ and both front and back fenders were really short and small, almost every time i went over water, mud or just dry dirt, stuff was getting kicked up at me.

I like them both ways...my wife threatened me with death if I cut mine soooo...guess they are staying

About the only thing I don't like is those dumbo ear heel gaurds

See now the heel guards wouldn't be a bad trim, just have to find a design that flows with the bike.

How come you didnt just take them off? ive never had my foot caught under the rear wheel "knock on wood" but if you have i can understand but i do agree they are extremley tacky looking in stock form.

Once you get your foot caught and you get dragged under? You'll probably never ride a quad without heel gaurds again
