I went riding today and the first burm I started to pull my clutch in and keep the RPM’s high. I heard a Long winding noise, almost like nails on a chalk board. I pulled over and put the quad in Neutral and the noise stopped.

I cranked the quad back up and put it in first, it idled fine with the clutch pulled in. I then gave it some gas with the clutch pulled in and heard another long winding sound. After the winding sound it began to sound like something was rattling. I immediately put it in Neutral and the sound went away.

Any other help is appreciated. I rode the quad back in first on the way to the truck and didn’t have any issues when the clutch was not pulled in.

thanks for any help.
