So rinsing my airfilter drying it and putting a little lube on it ended the other day when i was at my friends track...theres so much dust caked on my airfilter i cant get it clean with just water....how do u guys clean your airfilters?

Good article on air filters...

PJ1 air filter cleaner works well and smells nice, kerosine works well also.

I use twin air filter cleaner( white powdered stuff) then i use some PJ1 filter cleaner to get rid of any old or left over oil. Also watch out for ripping filter the filter.

dish soap and water also....add alittle UNI filter cleaner afterwards to make sure its REALLY clean.

im assuming these filters are the spongy ones. i have a k&N for my 250 and i'll spray it with water and try and remove the sirt by spinning it and hitting it lol. then just use K&N recharge. does the job like perfect
