was at the dealer today and I asked him about the cherry bomb. He answered by saying that I will get quite a bit less mileage out of the machine. He also said I would need to used race gas, which is DAMN expensive. For all you ltr owners our there with cherry bombs, but no pipes, do you get less mileage and do you think you're getting worse mileage? Thanks a lot for your help and if all is good, Im buying on next weekend here in Canada!!

YOU DONT NEED TO RUN THE HIGH OCTAIN YOU CAN JUST USE THE NORMAL 91 OCTAIN BUT YEA YOU DONT NEED TO BUT YOU CAN RUN IT IF YOU WANT TO

alright sweet, if it needed race gas, I would think twice about it. Have you had absolutely ANY problems with your ltr yet?

A guy on another forum said that Sean at Yoshi told him that a memo just went out there saying not to run race fuel so I called them and they told me the same thing.

k awesome...the ltr is sounding better every minute!! I am about 80% sure I'm going to buy one this weekend. Get the cherry bomb, and H-Bomb graphics kit, and Im good to go! It was between the 06 yfz or the ltr, and I think I found my new quad(the ltr of course)Thanks a lot guy, this site has really helped me out.

Im sure about the race gas, but I can tell a Difference while running it with a full yoshi system. A couple weeks back I forgot my 110 so I had to run some 93. At the gate, engine reved, I was getting small pops, which I dont think is "bad" but I dont get those running 110 (really its about about 105 octane). I can tell a difference in the seat of my pants too. Not much but worth me running and paying 5.64 per gallon for it!

Im just going to be running 91 octane in it....Thats what the dealer said to run, so if it blows up, hes going to have to cover it.

Same here...I been running 91 since day one and it's been fine...CRBM & Trinity Module, lid off, Trinity pro flow intake...I don't know if I could hang on to it if I was running 110...eeeeekkk

Not sure my wallet could handle the trama of paying 5 or 6 bucks a gallon either... :angry:

I have the CRBM and a full 2Bro's Exhaust. I can buy 100 at the pump for 5.99 a gallon, Sunoco Unleaded. I did that for my leave because it was easy to get a hold of but I have a connection to get 115 Trick unleaded for $5 a gallon. I'm going to dillute that down with 91 and I think it breaks down to like $4 a gallon at 103 oct. I just have to buy it in 30 gallon mini drums at a time.

All I know is that with what I'm running my quad is almost to fast. I wish it had longer gearing but the motor is dead on.
