Pro Armor is probably the best, but i'm getting some DG ones, my dealer didn't have any pro armor stuff in so i guess pro armor is giving them somewhere else. Here's something else that has made me question, why didn't suzuki make all the skidplates and nerfbars way before the quad came out, they had all that time to get the parts made up and send them to dealers, then people would've bought that stuff from them and then Suzuki could've had extra money and produce more products. Or better yet put nerfbars on the LTR when it came of the production line, and also add a tether switch, then the quad would be race ready.

I would have to say that Suzuki was waiting to see what kind of response it was going to get. The LTR is already the most expensive 450 out there. Lets face it...some people have choked on the price tag already...we who have them know it's worth every penny but...some people can't see the extra value. I would expect to see a fully outfitted one sometime soon...maybe in the next release...like that GYTR Yamaha...but I think it would be after the reputation grew and people got past the sticker...in my opinion :p

I have the PRM Dune edition belly skid on mine and its works great. Its thinner and lighter but more than gets the job done. I put the Heavy PRM swing arm skid on because thats where I mostly hit when trail riding. I have always had great luck with PRM.

There were holes for all the drains, but of course the were too small unless you are a Keebler Elf! I opened them up with a cutting tool about an inch more all the way around, so now its easy to drain without filling up the skid with oil, also made getting tools into the crank drains much easier.

I don't know how they work out the price of these things, but i paid $11,500 Auzzie dollars for my LTR compared to $13,000+ for the Yammie and the Honda.
Mabye thats why mine shit itself. (still no word on whats going on with it by the way)
The Suzuki is the cheapest 450 on the market down here.

Interesting!!

Any way, back to my original reason to post,
Who has skidplates available?
Which is the stronger, i need a heavy duty for this area.
I have emailed DG & PRM but no response yet.
I need them posted to Australia as nothing will be available for a few months yet here if i'm lucky.

I have the Pro Armor one and it kicks total @$$. It is really easy to install and looks great. It is thick and light, I was amazed at how little it weighed.

As for sticker shock I got my LTR for $1500 less then I did my old YFZ. They treat Yamaha's like royality in my home.

I like my Pro-Armor minus the fact that theres no holes to drain the oil on the bottom of the engine! wtf?
