Hey what’s up? I am brand new to this sport and so far I love it. Any ways this is my first Quad and I love it but this site has got me kind of worried lots of people seam to be having problems with it. Any ways I have about five hours on it and I was told just to ride the hell out of it to break it in so far no problems. But I will soon be upgrading my planes are full system exhaust cams piston air intake FI . just waiting on some money!!! But if I could get some of your guys input on what will be the best in the long run and give me some good power. Thanks. ;)

Welcome to the site.
ANYTHING mechanical will have problems. You see the problems here because we are discussing them --- don't let that scare you. Be reassured that --- if/when you have a problem...most likely one of us has already had it and can help get you through.
FUEL is da man. Check out his pipe shoot-out.

Oh --- and one other thing...... did you get the white or the slower yellow version ?

Depends on what your after...where do you do most of your riding?
Dunes?...MotoX...Woods...Trail?
What kind of terrain and riding style do you like?

These are the things that people will be asking you as you roam around the site...You may want to open it up a little and see just what kind of potential this thing has...

Pretty much everyone is going to agree that you have to get a CRBM installed (Search under CRBM if you don't know what that is)

Then pull the spark arrestor out of the muffler and remove the top of the air cleaner...

That would be a definate...

After that?...the sky is the limit...you may want to spend some coin on handling...suspension & shocks...

The faster you go the more suspension your going to need...

Then again?...you may want some bling for your bike...speed without looks just ain't cool...

So bump around the boards...keep an open mind...and ask questions like your doing....

Most of all?...have fun :p

Well I got the white one. And as far as riding goes I think I want to do MX most off all but I would like to keep my quad versatile to be able to kick ass any were so I really, I would say just a good quad all a round. As of right now I want to concentrate on engine performance and power. For a while I would like to have a sleeper you know surprise some folks when they see it in action and not just sitting there. so thanks for the help and the friendly welcome. later ;)

thats a problem cuz see are atv's are just so badass stock and uncorked u cant b looked at as a sleeper, maybe throw some yamaha or honda plastic on it n u can fool someone :p

Yes there have been some problems with the LTRs, but the thing is every single time someone has a problem they post here about it, cause this is where they can find answers. You hardly ever see anybody make a post saying "My LTR is the greatest thing on earth, what should I do to fix that?" So just remember, for every 1 problem you hear about there are hundreds more out they that have had nothing go wrong.

Welcome to the site! Anyways if u want to get your quad some power, first buy a Cherry Bomb from Yoshimura and then take off your baffle and airbox lid. If u still want more power give Fuel a PM and say you're interested in the Dasa exhaust group buy. Too see how the Dasa did in the shootout check in the Dyno Room.

The only thing i'm waiting for is the final picks of it on the LTR, then i'll order my Cherry Bomb (so it arrives first) then i'll complain to my dad that i need a pipe. Of course he'll say no even if i buy it with my own money. CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!
