Has anyone tried using a 20 or 22 inch tires on the stock rim? Is it too much side wall? I have to get these 18 inchers of asap, the rocks are doin' some damage!!, Also thinking about 23's on the front, anyone tried that yet?
I got a set of 20" tires when I first got my quad and it looks pretty goofy. I sent them back right away. Now I have 10" rims with 20" tires, they work great.
ITP makes a 20 for an 8" rim. Also, Super Grip makes one too called the "Stinger". They are sold at Modern Tire. They are both good tires, and for a trail rider or rec. rider I don't see why it would be a problem at all.
I wouldn't run 22s in the back on any rim.
