In the UK we are not restricted to the engine capacity in adult classes in motocross racing

The mods i cuurently have in my motor are:

Yoshimura camshafts
yoshimura pim unit/cherrybomb
superflowed by RTS (suzuki road bike team)
high compression piston
exhaust baffle removed

470/480/500/520 etc big bore and stroker kits are available

anyone used these? are they beneficial?
i would of thaught they pull harder with more torque?

go big bore if you want more torque but to get the full benefits of the big bore in my opinion, you need a ported head to take advantage of the extra cc's. im real happy with my big bore kit and i enjoy the extra pull going up steep dune hills.

bigbore will add power and torque across the board. If you can do it, then do it. You wont be dissapointed. Id suggest 493 setup with je 13.1 or 13.75 piston. Good luck. Expect 3-4whp 3-4ftlbs. Across the board not just down low.
