Ive seen quite a few different controllers on the market already. Dont know which one is the best or if they have specific purposes. Are they only to be used with their pipes or can you use a YOSH PIM and FIMAK with a DASA pipe for example.

Can anyone explain the difference or their puposes?

IMO ..... the PIM and FIMAK is the best combo available. The Power comander also looks to be very good if not as good as the PIM and FIMAK combo. I dont like the Dobeck. Dobeck makes them for Alba, Trinity, HMF and some others. With the Yoshi and Power comander the adjustments are more precise. Yes you can use any of the tuners with any pipe.

there is a new dobeck version 3 that will be out in the next month or so. Just a heads up. they are claiming more power than the old version. I think it was 3 hp or so...don't remember the rep told me about a month ago.

I prefer the power commander!
It has many preset maps for different pipes and small mods
But also allows you to adjust your a/f in 250 rpm incroments(sp?)
And Also show the cycle Duty of the injector,So you'll know if your over working your injector
It has a ton more options but thats what sold me !

OK so I have the Full RS5 and a pro flow......if I get the Power Comander I do not need the PIM? Im getting killed by a few YFZ's and I want to get back in the game but dont want to buy the PIM if it is not needed.

no you don't need the pim

it comes with everything you need, you will need a laptop for tuning though.

Numbers on the side of mine are 329-410...PowerCommander USB for the LTR450...

That would be the DJ one. Its 329-411.

Im kinda looking at the Dyna one. Any Pros or Cons of that one yet?

Since Dyna is a division of Dyno Jet I figure they are close. And the Dyna you dont need a PC even though I have a lap top.

I received one of the earlier ones that hit the market... I was kinda let down at first the Rev Extension box that mounts behind the right shock didn't fit. So I called the Tech dept in CA and was told the guides in the Extension box were too long and would not fit. Something about the epoxy expanded a couple mms too thick when adhered together. So they sent me a new one a few days later. So I put the Yosh Cherry Bomb on with the Dynatek FI controller just screwing around and with my access to a dyno at work, the combo of the Dynatek controller and the Yosh Cherry bomb it put out between .5-1. horse more than the Dyna controller and their Rev Extension.... Just a little something I thought I would share!
