Before I got my Yosh full system, a 2nd gear start would bog like crazy. I had to clutch it alot.

But now with the pipe, some controlled throttle and clutch makes 2nd gear starts a snap.

I try to stay out of the middle RPMs because the LTR has too mellow of a mid, so Im usually up around the rev limiter to keep the power up.

i like a 2nd gear launch... get way up on the front end, rev high and slip the clutch just enough to keep it from bogging or standing up. if traction is limited and you dont have to worry about either bogging or lifting the front than a nice hard clutch release (but dont dump it) tends to get you moving pretty good. wheel speed in low traction conditions is key, none of that pussy footing the throotle to try and keep from spinning, that just doesnt work when you are wearing tires that were made to DIG

I would practice 1st and second but i think most mx track starts would be better with 2nd.
