not mine......

My buddy wrecked his LTR a while back and rolled it..... one of his rear sand stars then would just leak air through the bead.

We took a friend out last night and he rolled my wifes LTZ and same result.... a leaky bead.

These wheels are in good condition, and not bent.

Any info or suggestions?

I take the wheel off, take the valve core out defating all the air. Then knock that side of the tire off the bead(usually you can just push down on the tire and it will go down some for you) so you can get a clean rag and soapy water on the bead area to clean it for a positive seal again. Clean that dude good! Put the core back in and blast that tire with air to get it to seal again. Not a fun job, but it's got to be done! ;)

Clone is right...most likely some sand in the bead...

Not to be picky, but I work at a tire shop and do NOT let the air out of the tire if using a machine to break the tire down. You let it out on car tires, but for ATV tires, its best to leave air in the tire due to such a soft compound. Break the tire down, and look for dirt around that part of the rim. If you find dirt, clean it off, if not take the tire off and spin it to make sure there isnt a bent spot. Sometimes you cant see a bent wheel, but the part of the wheel inside the tire may be bent, so take the tire off for better inspection. Its possible the wheel is bent inside the tire if you were running lower air pressure. If the wheel isnt bent, put the tire back on, the apply some bead sealer to the inner side of the wheel where the bead seats. Leave the core out and air up to about 25psi... Let it sit for a minute to make sure the bead is set good, then take the core out and let the air down to the recommended pressure. Hope this helps.
