Bar Pads...

do you guys think that a renthal/tag/pro taper bar pad will fit on the stock bars? I removed the 3 lights, which meant I could take off the bulky black plastic piece, so now I want to get a bar pad. I will just buy the bar pad now and put it on my stock bars, then later on when I get new handlebars, just put the bar pad on that. Tell me what you guys think.
