There's a thread in here somewhere about how to just remove that enrichner deal...but I can't find it...something about pulling it out of the throttle body but you have to be careful and silicon the set screw back in there...can't remember for sure...

and then your free to do what you want with the ASV...

I think the thread was called "Removing the black blob"..???

I just did it and it's exactly as junkie said. I wouldn't go as far as removing it from the throttle body unless your bike is already apart. Otherwise I would just put it under the gas tank.

that's what i did. but i taped it up first.before i tucked it under the hood.

We used the ASV lever without the hot start and took off all that stuff from the handlebars and took out almost every wire lol

Yep just curled up the cable and zip tied it under the gas tank. I like to be able to put everything back to stock later down the road if I want to unload the bike.

I traced it as far as I could back by the fuel pump, grabbed my trusty metal shears, and snip, left about 6" before it hits the T/B, taped her up and whollah, no mas.
