Alright finally got it figured out .when putting an ASV pro clutch perch lever on i had to purchase a cable for an ltz 400 the ltr was way to long . the ltz fitted good and is plent long enough.

so the z 400 cable is shorter? if so i will order one cuz my ltr cable is too long

The LTR cable would have been fine, you just need a couple barrel extenders from ASV. (They send them for free). Good to know the Z cable worked for you though.

yea you also have 3 adjustment points on the LTR cable as well
