Stay away from Procom boxes or any rev box in and around the 100.00 mark. All the "renamed" boxes are made by procom (like the Big Gun cdi for example). They do nothing but put dangerous ignition curves that ultimatly ruin your motor. I believe they go too far with the advance. Just take my word and stay away from it.

I'm sorry but you are wrong. This box has absolutely no effect on your ignition curve like other rev boxes. The box is nothing more than a capacitor being used to keep the voltage output from the stator as stable as possible. (it only has connections for +12v and ground).

Ok perhaps this particular Procom box is a bit different then it is for other modles like my trx450r. Im still not buying it.

So explain how it produces more torque, better throttle response, better spark energy, more fuel milage, and all the other "magic" characteristics by simply adding a capacitor?

their explanation would be that since the stator output is more stable now with the "box" that you'll have more consistent voltage, spark energy, and fuel pressure therefore making the bike have more torque and better throttle response...etc. all in all a bunch of BS.

Gotcha, i appreciate the explination. It always seems when its too good to be true it usually is.
