If so what kind, and how much HP do you think you gain from it

I am using Cams from TC racing engines. I would say you gain 3 HP on top, just from seat of the pants. You lose a little bottom, but pick up in mid and rev out.

He does require a core exchange.

I heard that was the problem with the Yoshi RMZ cams...since the LTR is so much heavier you lose the bottom end but it picks back up in the mid and top...

Personally I'm having WebCams with a DASA profile done on mine next week...I'll let ya know how it turns out...

I don't have any proof or anything, just things I heard, but do you lose as much bottom end from just running an intake cam and no exhaust cam or vise versa?

DASA has 2 cams available.

Mild cams - no loss on the bottom with increased HP thoughout the power band. I think the dyno sheets show 2 HP on the top.

Race cams - there is a loss of bottom end ..... UNLESS .... you run high comp piston and race porting. I dont have the exact HP increase, but it does make alot more on the mid to top then the mild cams do.

im running the yosh cam (intake) but at the same time had the head ported and added high compression piston to maintain the lowend.pulls like a mutha from the bottom all the way to the limiter.

Cernic's hooked me up with some TC cams and i could not be happier. Very little loss off the bottom but the mid to top end screams. This mod was also done in conjuntion with a flowed and ported head plus a Votex Intercepter EFI unit

What are the prices for the race cams? I dont weigh much so my ltr doesnt need bottom end to move me, its basically pulling itself.
