Well I got the Alba pipe kit as a gift the other day... My wife really tries to surprise... She usually does pretty well... She called Alba and they recommended this for me... It came with the Alba full exhaust, Velocity Intake, and the Cherry Bomb... I called Alba and they said they put it on their dyno and the A/F ratio was near perfect... I installed it all... I like the intake a lot... The pipe seems to be really good quality... It has a great fit and looks good too... I was also told that they compare to the HMF pipes... I'm not trying to get all the HP in the world... It has enough for me... I just can't seem to leave anything stock... I'm sure you all know how I feel... Oh and this thing is really loud... I love the sound of this thing with the pipe... I can post pics if you guys want... Any opinions would be great...

Well I don't have a Alba pipe. I do have the Alba 470 kit in my LTZ. Not really happy with thier mechs or customer service. I did business with them for over 2 years. Dumped over 15k to them. Brought 6 people in to buy bikes from them. And they did a CRAPPY job on my quad engine. Switched to FBC as far as local stuff. Will be going with DASA for all LTR engine applications.

Thats good... I like hearing other stories from them... I do all my own engine work so I'm not too worried about that... And its not local by any means... I am stationed on Guam for a while... I had good experiences on the phone so far but I jsut don't know anything bout them

Honestly I have never heard anything bad about them before...I do not hear a lot of people singing praises to them either...just have not heard much at all! I think they make some nice looking stuff...not the best prices IMO.

Please, post a pic!!!! I want to see it! :scoot:

BTW, GREAT suprise! Thumbs up for the wife! Give her a hug and a big thanks from all of us!

i had been given one for my bike cause i bought it from them, but i had a yoshi titanium already, so i sold it. but it did look good quality, but had no sparky. my brother had one on his 450r before he went yoshi titanium also. the only problem with that pipe was it kept burning out the spark arrestor, he must have went through three of them. and that was with the alba kit by itself "pipe, intake, jetting". and on the yoshi the sparky is still fine. also that alba pipe was very loud too.

Well I don't have to worry about a spark arrestor or noise levels here... No one cares here... No regulations... Anyway, here are the pics of the Alba pipe installed... The head pipe turned colors on me, but I guess that is to be expected from pretty much all pipes except for ceramic coated pipes I guess...

Thought I would throw one of the girl that got it for me in...
