I've never used anything but a K&N with a prefilter, but seeing as how they dont' make a drop in K&N yet I was wondering what's better a UNI or Twin Air filter (Not trying to start an argument, just want to see peoples opinions). Secondly, will these flow enough air to need an efi controller or can I still run one with the cherrybomb?

With a K&N you will be very lean and will need to remap.

I've been using Twin Air on quads and dirtbikes for along time and they should be fine with the cherry bomb, I have a Twin air foam filter that works great, i've never used a UNI, but right now I have no Cherry Bomb and have taken out the baffle, removed the airlid and added the filter and my quad still runs fine.

The only thing i notice about my Twin air is my quad sounded alittle louder since it was getting more air.

My intake mods progression.

1 - stock w/crbm= a little restrictive

2 - twin air w/crbm= better than stock

3- Pro-Design intake (foam) w/crbm= noticable difference

4- Pro-Design intake (foam) / PIM / Yosh full exhaust= OMG daddy likes IT RIPS

get rid of the stock filter a.s.a.p. it will soon fall apart.
