Hey,
I'm just being honest. That whining tranny scares me. Should I wait for 07? Anybody hear if the problem has been fixed?

I have ordered 2 07 LTR450 up here in Canada and the first one has arrived at the dealer yesterday Sept 12/06 the Yellow one and the whyte one should be here tomorow sept 14/06

I also have a LTR450 and have had since March and it has never whined.

I have had two since april and they haven't whined. And yes the 07's have been here for 2 weeks now

The biggest problem with the tranny was that people were not putting in enough oil after refilling it after the oil change. I have never had a whinnig problem. The amount in the owners manual seems to be off and adding a a couple more ounces is the ticket.

I was scared to buy an ltr after reading about some of the issues. But i just sacked up and bought one and hopefully mine will run like a champ for years to come. As of right now i love this thing, but ive only had it for 2 weeks.

Mine whines but i dont think its a problem, im gonna change the oil soon anyway..LT-R>all buy it!

We have all had Whiny girlfriends, and what do you do when they whine? IGNORE HER!! The same should be said for the LT-R.
