i want to run some 20"s on the back. should i go up to 22"s for the front or can i get away with the stock 20"s. i have a set of douglas bead locks with 22 all trakks that would fit but i think those will be to tall. so i will probably put a set of 20"s on the bead locks for the back. will the stock ones up front be ok for 22"s on back? thanks for advise.

I put my brothers 20" razor's on the back of mine(which still has the 20" stock front tires) and it was great for the trails. It sits a little different obviously because your adding an inch to the rear, but its not that noticeable. I wouldnt spend the extra money on fronts, just buy some rear 20's first, and if you dont like how it rides, than buy some front. But from my experience with running the 20's,there fine.

Regearing is a MUST. Drop the front down to 13 tooth from the stock 14.
My 20s made my gearing way too tall in the woods, I was on the clutch too much.
for desert riding you could probably get away with keeping the 14 - but trails, or GNCC, go to the 13.
Sidewinder makes a Ti-Moly compound that's supposted to be a really good front sprocket.

CRAZY CANUCK

I usually don't go that far west, since I rarely get more than a long weekend off of work. I like to do most of my riding in the Crowsnest Pass and Sparwood area.

Thanks Kwad Gawd and jmayer
Good gearing advice, I'm think of buying a set of 20/22's for trail riding.
Already got the complete set of Pro Armor skid plates ordered. I don't think the stock skid would take to many hard blows from hidden rocks.
