My friend and I both bought LT-R450's back in March.

BOTH now have BROKE CASES
Almost 2 months ago I brought my LT-R450 in for the frame welding recall. I did'nt have my bike for about 2 weeks
1 Month ago we were out ridin in Manchester NJ, Crystal lakes.

After about 10 minutes my shifter stopped working properly. Like no spring left to return Shifter after shifting.

I spoke to Doug Gust's mechanic ( JR, Old Friend) about the problem and he knew about this problem I was talking about right away and told me that Suzuki should warranty it

I brought my bike to Extreme Machines in NJ. Good place but my LT-R450 has been there for a month and they told me that they were waiting on a new case for the motor and it WILL be warrantied.
But I still have to wait, Case is on back order if it's on back order I can't be the only one with this problem.

If they get the case today, they say, it'll still be another week or 2 !!!! ???
That'll be 6 Weeks, NO Bike ,Maybe Longer

MONDAY MY FRIENDS LT-R450 BROKE

Now thats 2 Broke Cases, SAME PROBLEM
They told him his warranty was just about up and he's lucky or he'd have to pay for it himself, THAT WOULD BE ALOT OF MONEY

I did read on here somewhere about someone else having this problem. So that would make 3 LT-R450's down OR MORE

Anyone else have this PROBLEM???
This should be a RECALL YES?? or NO ???

I miss my Bike :disgust:

We have quite a few cases of this happening...I would encourage everyone to purchase the extended warranty before their 6 month mark is up. You may be out of comission for a while, but it could save you alot of cash

Agreed!

Also don't pay any more than $422 for a 48 month extended warranty. The dealer will want more but you can talk them down and if they won't come down buy it on the internet for that price.

No I didn't. Strange that so many people are having this problem but I have yet to get a dealer name and phone number in the thread I posted in.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmm!

i hope it dont happen to me. but if it does and i come on here crying about it. just remind me and i will give you all the info asap. i am not worried about my dealer trying to avoid the warranty. so if mine blows up then we will have one address and phone number for you....
