My friend and I race 1/8 scale nitro buggies. Last season we built monster trucks to play in the dunes and race up Oldsmobile. My lightly modded MonsterGT was faster than his fully race ready MonsterGT because I had better gearing to go with trimmed Panther paddles, which gave me an edge.

He has been telling me that he is building a new truck for this Glamis season. We are suppose to race Olds the weekends of Oct 21 and 28 (halloween). Here is the picture that he sent me today of his new truck - a dual engine supersavage. He is also gluing together two sets of rear paddle to make it an ultimate hill shooter.

Holy ch!t. How do I compete? dual engine MonsterGT?

He has an rc18mt with a brushless motor, and every factory team part available. It's super fast up and down the street or smooth track, but won't work very well in the dunes.

Junkie, for sure. On the Oct 21st weekend, I was invited to stay with the CT Racing crew for a guys weekend. I hear they go on some long fast rides and there is no looking back for those who break down or can't hang. Sounds fun. Maybe you can join up on one of their rides as well.

5th gear pinned bowl run huh?...Interesting...I might do that if my kids don't mind hanging out until I get back...I talked to those guys at the Sand Show...pretty hard core group...they liked my stuff but I told them it wasn't for racing applications...strickly in the bling department...but yea...PM me and we'll do the phone tag thingy... :lol:

Rockin' well i didnt really mean in with ya just like taggin along glamis alone is not very fun. And thats awesome if you have it by then, however the sacrafice is kinda sad
