The hubs are not press fit, but they shouldn't be super sloppy either. without seeing yours there is no way to say if its excessive or not.

No. I've removed my 'blob' and have the plunger forced closed. Maybe your valve clearance is wrong or decomp assembly isn't doing its job. Or maybe your battery is weak.

Before spending any more on aftermarket parts, I'd do a compression test to see if its time for a top end. If you're burning oil, it can only come from 2 places. Rings or valve seals.

Possible Glitchy TPS, possible restricted fuel filter, but you would expect the problem to be worse under WOT. Is your FI light flashing telling you its overheating? have you checked your temp?
