2006 LTR cuts out after starting

Okay guys so I picked up a 2006 LTR that is mainly stock besides a different Yoshi exhaust and yoshi cherry bomb. It looks like the previous owner took pretty decent care of it besides letting it sit covered in mud.
So it starts up easily but cuts out in seconds if you don’t stay on the throttle. I’m guessing it’s having a fuel issue, and it looks like he did as well. He changed the injector, changed the filter to an inline, and it looks like he put a new cock assembly on it.
I see the bolts on the fuel pump are scratched to hell and back and one is stripped pretty badly. When I opened it up, it looks completely stock.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but my guess is to start there and replace the fuel pump.

Or could someone give me some insight on what they think could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Rebuild the fuel pump. Cost allot less. Amazon has them. I paid 35 for mine.
