2008 ltr 450 problem

Hey guy so I just bought a 2008 ltr. Just took it out for the first time out to the dunes and it has new motor. I rod it for about an hour ran great but then all of a sudden it seemed like it was starving for fuel and dying when it would rev and, It is also extremely slow off the line I noticed it had the cherry bomb on so I unplugged it and it started to good. And yes the air box cover is removed and the spark arrestor is out. Do the cherry bombs go bad and mess the fuel up system?Thank for any info

They can go bad. It is just a 100 ohm resistor. I am leaning more towards a fuel pump failure. I would check your fuel pressure while it is acting up. Also if it still has the swirl filter I would look to see what condition that is in.

Thanks for the reply i took a look at the swirl filter and it was really bad so I just deleted it. Seems to run a lot better it still seems a little slow off the line. But that might just be how it is. It also has a brand new fuel pump in it.
