So my 09 needs a new chain. I was planning on replacing the front sprocket to a 13t because I've been told it would make it more trail friendly. The rear sprocket isn't very worn so I wasn't going to replace it. As far as the chain I've decided on a DID chain, just not sure what size and model I should get. Was looking at the atv2 x ring chain, just not sure on the length, saw some stuff about masterlink vs rivet. Also getting a case guard, do I need a chain guide? What do y'all think? Should I get a rear sprocket? Is the 13t the wrong thing to do? Mostly trail and pit riding, occasionally a homemade track. Very new to sport quads.

Always use new sprockets with a new chain. Stock length chain will work 96 links, with the 13 tooth sprocket.
